Comcast Volunteers To Work At Lions Park For Comcast Cares day

On Saturday, April 30, local Comcast employees and their families and friends will work at Lions Park in Mc- Connellsburg as part of Comcast Cares Day. At the same time across the country, more than 62,000 Comcast volunteers will participate in this annual day of service, which is one of the largest single days of corporate volunteer efforts in the country.

This will be Comcast’s 10th Comcast Cares Day. Since its inception in 2001, Comcast employees, their families and friends have dedicated over two million hours of service. The company has also committed more than $10 million in grants to organizations nationwide. Comcast Cares Day is one way that Comcast helps to power dreams and demonstrate a yearround commitment to making a difference in the communities it serves.

Beginning at 8 a.m., volunteers at Lions Park will spreadg mulch and repairplayground equipment in partnership with PA Lions, Inc.
