Audrey A. Carson
Born January 8, 1938, in Crystal Spring, she was the daughter of the late Solomon and Maye Hixon Fink.
She attended Southern Fulton High School.
She was an active member of Redeemer Bible Church in Garland and a volunteer for Baylor Hospital for 32 years.
She is survived by her husband, George Carson; three sons: Randy Carson, Henderson, Texas; Daniel Carson, Garland, Texas; Rodney Carson, Saschse, Texas; one brother, Harold Fink, and wife Barbara, Breezewood; five sisters: Dorothy Heeter, Fritch, Texas; Larue Witmer, Sharpsburg, Md.; Ruby Calhoun and husband, Albert, Breezewood; Velma Carson and husband Lee, Tyler, Texas; Mary Edna Ramsey and husband Leo, Breezewood; six grandchildren: Zach Carson, Royse City, Texas; Jordan Carson, Orlando, Fla.; Colt Carson, Rockwall, Texas; Ashley Cunningham, Muskegon, Mich.; Laryn and Nyomi Carson, Saschse, Texas; and three great-grandchildren: Rylie and Killian Cunningham, Muskegon, Mich., and Emma Carson, Orlando, Fla.
Memorial services were held Sunday, April 17, at Redeemer Bible Church. Services were held Wednesday, April 20, at 11 a.m., at Amaranth Church of the Brethren. Rev. Freeman Snair officiated. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, was in charge of arrangements.
