Teen Driver Cited In Crash
A 16-year-old boy from Harrisonville was cited by state police for driving too fast for roadway conditions after he crashed along Lincoln Highway on Tuesday, April 5.
According to police, the teen was travelling eastbound through Brush Creek Township at 9:09 p.m. when he swerved to miss a whitetailed deer. The 1986 Ford F- 350 went off the road and struck an embankment at the intersection of Bark Road. The teen was wearing a seat belt and escaped injury.
