Truck Damaged In Crash With Deer

A 2008 Chevrolet Silverado was rendered inoperable on Sunday, April 3, after it struck a white-tailed deer along Interstate 70.

Pennsylvania State Police said the deer was standing in the middle of the right lane when it was struck by the truck driven by Theodore S. Kress of Ubly, Mich. Kress, 63, and his passengers, Irene E. Pieknik, 72, Waterford, Mich., and Sandra A. Kress, 60, of Ubly were all wearing seat belts. They were not injured in the 11:30 p.m. accident in Bethel Township.
