Rangers Respond To Crash

Forest and park rangers from the Buchanan State Forest and Cowans Gap State Park responded to a crash that occurred on the 9000 block of Aughwick Road last Thursday.

Park ranger Greg Eitner reported a northbound 2005 Dodge Dakota driven by Harold Cutshall of Three Springs ran off the roadway and struck a tree. The 1:25 p.m. crash caused the tree to fall across the truck and road.

Both Cutshall and his passenger, Ronald Brown, also of Three Springs, suffered serious injuries and were transported to area hospitals. Neither individual was wearing a seat belt.

Rangers were aided on the scene by the Mc- Connellsburg, Hustontown and Metal fire companies as well as by state police, Penn- DOT, Valley Rural Electric Cooperative and area residents.
