2 Killed In Wrong-way Crash On I-81
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. ( AP) – Two people were killed Saturday, April 2, after a sport-utility vehicle driving the wrong way on Interstate 81 hit another car head-on.
The accident happened in Greene Township at just after 1 a.m.
Police in the Chambersburg barracks say 27-yearold Brian McKenrick of Biglerville was driving south in the northbound lane of I-81 near mile marker 21 when his SUV collided head-on with a car driven by 30-year- old Chad Silver of Shippensburg. The SUV then struck a truck, but the driver of that vehicle was not injured.
