Craig Cutchall of Hustontown was named the Fulton Chamber of Commerce’s 1990 Man of the

Year at the annual banquet held March 30. H. Lyle Duffey of McConnellsburg was presented the Outstanding Citizen Award, and Kathy Kendall was given a special award for her efforts in youth service.

Norma Lash, 26, has been named 4-H and family living agent for the Penn State Cooperative Extension in Fulton County. Lash fills the position left vacant by the resignation of former agent Amy Walters.

Kirby Randler, who has been serving with the U.S. Navy on the USS Saratoga in the Persian Gulf during the war with Iraq, arrived in Mayport, Fla., on March 28 and was given a great welcome home by those who travelled to Florida to meet him when his ship came in.

Tina and John Pittman of McConnellsburg are the proud parents of the Fulton County Farmers’ Association’s Ag Baby for 1991. The committee honors the first baby born at Fulton County Medical Center during Ag Week. The new baby boy, John Pittman Jr., was born March 25.

Mr. and Mrs. Clair Traxler of Hustontown announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauri Ann, to Darius DeShong, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin DeShong of Hustontown.

Thomas Peck of McConnellsburg on March 26; a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bowman of Needmore on March 27; a son to Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Egolf of Harrisonville on March 26; a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. David Price of Blairs Mills on March 26; a son to Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Campbell of Harrisonville on March 27; a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Deshong of McConnellsburg on March 28.

Charles and Mary Lee Lanehart of Warfordsburg are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rhonda, to William Kyne, son of Frank and Caroline Kyne of Berkeley Springs.
