Birthday wishes this week to Donna Clark, Emily Ramsey, Neil Brown, Katrina Benson, Kelsey Fleck, Wayne Good, Holden Lupey, Vicki Hamman, Bridget Foor, Mary Beth Ulsh, Matthew Schunk and Dennis Flasher.

Anniversary wishes to Brian and Tammy Fraker.

Get well wishes to Dave LeBeau, Maria Memmi, Carolyn Detwiler, Lynn Knepper, Dick Rhoades, Darin Wagner, Stephanie Semple and Mary Mort.

Get well wishes and prayers go out to Kathy, Ashley and Nathan Keebaugh, Kathy’s mom and two sisters who were in an accident in Ohio while traveling to a wedding. Ashley is now a patient in Hershey and is scheduled for surgery. Nathan had some severe lacerations and has numerous stitches.

Deepest sympathy goes out to the Cowan and Mc- Math families.

Congratulations to the Workmen’s Quintet that gave a great performance last Sunday during worship services at Immanuel Bible Church. We expect to hear more from this group.

Roger and Pat Ramsey, and faithful dog Sasha hiked the 1,000 Steps Historic Trail in Jack’s Narrows on Sunday afternoon. The hike ended with a well-deserved trip to the Meadows in Huntingdon for ice cream.

Tom and Mamie Streightiff and John and Gail Young visited with Tim Streightiff in Washington, D.C., this weekend for the beginning of the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

Maddison Wible and Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger enjoyed a fun but full day of shopping in Hagerstown on Saturday.

Visiting recently with the Steve and Karen Grissinger family were Travis Hall, Maddison Wible, Travis Madden, Ramon Martin, Donna Locke, Henry Lovett, Mike Pintozzi, and Jim, Lorey, Brenden, Holden and Camden Lupey.

Shade Gap Ladies Auxiliary hosted a wonderful meal Saturday evening for the cash drawing! Great job everyone!

Gordon and Donna Locke, along with Ruth Grissinger, spent a fun-filled evening Saturday at the cash drawing thanks to the table companionship of Rodney and Kim Walters, Vickie Horton and Sally and Pink Rowe.

Donna Locke and Ruth Grissinger enjoyed a “girl’s day out” on Wednesday in Chambersburg.

Angel Wings will be sponsoring a benefit ride and pig roast on Saturday, June 11, at Harper’s Memorial Park, with bikes leaving promptly at noon. The cost is $25 per bike, with an early registration drawing for a gas card. Event is open to everyone beginning at 4:30 p.m. for a cost of $10 per person. Please contact Dodie Price for registration at 814-386-0594. All proceeds from the day will benefit Justin and Stephanie Semple.

A spring fling will be held at the former Pleasant Valley Restaurant near the Y at Fort Littleton this Friday and Saturday. Lots of local vendors will have their crafts and jewelry on display.

Three Springs Volunteer Fire Co. will have a pork and sauerkraut dinner on Sunday, April 3, beginning at 11 a.m.
