We are having some of those spring showers to start the week as spring has begun. Anyway, we had a beautiful weekend.
The flea markets are starting if you want to start attending there will be one at St. Thomas United Methodist Church on Friday beginning at 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. and also Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. They always have lots of vendors set up in their large recreation building. A good place to spend the day and meet lots of folks and also find bargains.
We hear the Forbes Road School students did a great job of putting on the musical “Footloose,” which was well attended.
Michel Torcasco was entered into Phi Theta Kapp honor society on Sunday at Harrisburg. He is the son of Gary and Barbara Torcasco.
Hustontown Fire Co. will sponsor a shooting match on Saturday, March 26, at 1 p.m. Shells will be furnished and prizes awarded. The firemen will appreciate your support.

Olivia Mills has made it to the top three in the Rising Star competition at Heartland Hall in Bedford. She needs votes for this Sunday’s competition so all are asked to attend and offer support. The program begins at 2 p.m.
