Pancake Supper Wells Tannery Park is holding a pancake supper on April 9, starting at 4 p.m. Everyone welcome.
Pancake Supper Whips Cove Church will hold a pancake supper Saturday, March 26, at 5 p.m. Served will be buttermilk pancakes, old-fashioned buckwheat cakes, eggs, pork puddin, sausage, ham, sausage gravy, coffee, hot chocolate and juice. Donations accepted and greatly appreciated.
Pancake Breakfast Knobsville United Methodist Church on Waterfall Road will be serving pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, juice and coffee on Saturday, April 16, from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m.. There is no charge for the breakfast, but donations will be accepted. Also available will be brown bag lunches which will include a sandwich, apple or banana, chips and a soda for $5. Fishermen, this is the first day of trout season, so plan to stop by, get a good breakfast and your lunch all in one stop. More information may be obtained by calling 717-987-3215.
Hoagie Sale St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Big Cove Tannery, will hold a hoagie sale Saturday, April 16. Lunch will be served at the schoolhouse across from the church and madeto order hoagies will be served, along with homemade soup and pies. Grandma Ann’s Pie Sale Saint Stephen’s Family Life Committee is sponsoring a Grandma Ann’s spring apple and cherry pie sale on Saturday, March 26. The cost of the pies are plain $7.50 and crumb top $8. To place an order, call 485-5917.
