SF Indian Teams Advance To Second Round State Playoffs

The Southern Fulton Lady Indians advanced to round two of PIAA Class A playoffs Saturday after wrapping up their match against Conemaugh Valley in a decisive 59-46 victory.

Team co- captain Chelsie Eader scored a career high 26 points for Southern Fulton in addition to grabbing six rebounds and making four steals. Lacey Beatty tallied 10 points and three assists, and Macey Hollenshead contributed seven points. Teammate Courtney Strait and Morgan Mills both added six.

Conemaugh Valley 54

With two members of the Southern Fulton Indians both netting more than 20 points, it’s not surprising the Indians prevailed in the first-round of PIAA Class A playoffs Friday evening. Downing Conemaugh Valley 63-54, teammates Ryan Harper and Damon Gordon both tallied 22 points. Harper also added nine rebounds and four steals during the match. J.C. Munson and Seth Hall rounded out the state playoff game with nine and seven points, respectively.
