Mary L. Wilson
Mary L. Wilson, 71, Everett, died Saturday, March 5, 2011.
She was born July 17, 1939, in Homer City, a daughter of the late Chester and Larue (Graydon) Ditch.
On March 10, 1972, in Towson, Md., she married Gary L. Wilson, who survives along with her children: Kenneth J. Mechalski, Hampstead, Md.; Edward L. Wilson, Crystal Spring; Patricia L. Wyatt, Harrisburg; 10 grandchildren and three sisters: Patricia, Nancy and Janice.
She was preceded in death by two sisters; Janet and Janey.
Early in her life she began working at a Baltimore factory making Christmas ornaments and then worked in the manufacturing of medical equipment of Precision Grinding. Later she was employed with Vulcan Hart, building professional kitchen equipment, and retired from Owens-Illinois Inc., a leading manufacturer of packaging products.
At home she enjoyed listening to country music, shopping at yard sales, and she liked to dance. She will be remembered for her independent and loving ways.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 10, at 11 a.m., in the chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Everett. Pastor Mark A. Lingenfelter officiated. Burial was made at Jerusalem Christian Cemetery.
