John M. Lane
John M. “Jack” Lane, 56, Mount Union, died at 12:24 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born September 26, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of J. Richard Lane of Mapleton and Coralee (Scamahorn) Lane of Lake City, Fla.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by four children: John J. Lane, Carlisle; Lee James Lane, Pittsburgh; and Kelsey T. Lane and Shannon R. Lane, both of Mount Union; and a brother, David Lane, Lake City, Fla.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Richard and Thomas Lane.
He was employed at JLG Industries, McConnellsburg, as a welder.
His passions included family, Mother Nature, antiques and soulful music.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, at the Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon. Pastor Laura King officiated. Burial was made in the Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon.
