Pa. Man Arrested After Police Kill Aggressive Dog

PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh police say they arrested a man inside abandoned home hours after officers shot and killed a dog he’d complained was dangerous.

Police say Jamie Brisbey had called complaining of an aggressive pit bull at a neighboring home. Officers investigating the report ended up shooting the dog after it charged an officer and bit his belt.

WPXI-TV reports another neighbor who was watching the abandoned home called police Thursday morning after she noticed Brisbey inside. Police returned and arrested him on burglary charges.

Officers say Brisbey told them he’d gone to check on the dog but was carrying a stolen flashlight.
