Heidi and Chris Mellott of McConnellsburg would like to announce the birth of their first child, a son, Callen Reed, on Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown. He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 20-1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Elaina and Denny Swope of Big Cove Tannery and Jackie and Rodney Mellott of Mc- Connellsburg. Great-grandparents are Joanne and Grover Souders, Marie Shimer and Pat Mellott, all of McConnellsburg, and Ronald Swope of Harrisonville.
