Vehicle Searched, Suspected Drugs Found
State police searched a vehicle impounded following a driving-under-the-influence arrest and reported finding suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
On Friday, March 4, police stopped Steven Paul Foor, 20, of Everett and Nicoli Benjamin Wise, 25, of Hagerstown for a traffic violation at the intersection of routes 30 and 915. Police reportedly detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and asked for consent to search.
Foor denied consent and an attempt to contact the owner of the vehicle was unsuccessful. Foor was taken into custody for driving under the influence, and his vehicle was towed from the scene to the state police impound lot. The suspected marijuana was sent to the crime lab for further analysis. Charges are pending results of the crime lab and blood draw.
