Car Strikes Enbankment
A Ypsilanti, Mich., driver will be cited for driving a vehicle at unsafe speeds after a crash along the westbound lanes of Interstate 70.
Francisco M. Contreras lost control of his 1997 Toyota Corolla on the snow-covered roadway on Sunday, March 6, state police said. The car slid off the Brush Creek Township roadway at 4 p.m. and into an embankment. The vehicle, police added, travelled up the steep rocky embankment before rolling onto its roof.
Contreras, 20, was wearing a seat belt and escaped harm.
