Billy P. Clevenger
Billy P. Clevenger, 74, Lyons, N.Y., died Saturday, February 26, 2011, while vacationing in Florida.
He was born April 28, 1935, in Pennsylvania, a son of the late William and Jessie Mellott Clevenger.
He was an eight-year veteran of the Navy and was employed through the years at Garlock in Palmyra and retired from Parker-Hannifin in Clyde as a tool and die maker.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Lyons.
He is survived by his loving and caring wife, Grace ( Jordan) of 54 years; a daughter, Paula Marr (George) Lauster, Lyons, N. Y.; granddaughters: Meghan (Justin) Gualtieri, Rome; and Mackenzie Marr, Rochester; great-grandson Dominic “Patrick” Gualtieri; siblings Mildred Powers, Maryland; June (Harold) Smith, Wolcott; Bonnie Smith, North Rose; and Ray (Margie) Clevenger, North Rose; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Dale, Charles, Ivan, Pauline, Adrienne and Nancy.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 4, at 11 a.m., at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, Lyons. Burial was made in Elmwood Cemetery, Lyons.
