Amanda S. Willey, 30, Needmore, died Sunday March 6, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, Md.

Born October 22, 1980, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of James W. and Vicki L. Myers Willey of Needmore.

She was a 1998 graduate of Southern Fulton High School, and was employed as manager for the VFW in Breezwood.

Besides her parents, she is survived by one daughter, Lexus McCloskey, at home; one sister, Holly Burch and husband Nick of Needmore; two brothers: James C. Willey of McConnellsburg; and Kevin J. Willey and wife Heather of Needmore; maternal grandmother Lora Myers of Needmore; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Lee Myers; and paternal grandparents Ben and Stella Willey.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Christian Church Warfordsburg. Rev. Denver A. Plessinger will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock, Md., and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. For the convenience of friends and family, the funeral home will be open from 2 p.m. to 8pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Tower Bank, Great Cove Road, Needmore, PA 17238 in trust for Lexus.
