Southern Fulton 68, Fannett-Metal 35

The Southern Fulton Indians finished Wednesday evening’s matchup with three players in double digits and advanced to the semifinals of District 5-A playoffs. Having handily defeated Fannett-Metal 68-35 in the opening round, the Indians were led by Ryan Harper’s 17 points, nine rebounds and four steals. Seth Hall followed narrowly with 16 points and five assists, while Nathan Keebaugh finished out the post-season game with 10 points.

Shanksville 57, Forbes Road 37

The Forbes Road Cardinals allowed their two-point lead at the halftime break to slip away to Shanksville, who broke away for a 20-point win during the opening round of District 5-A playoffs. Finishing off their season with a record of 11-12, the Cardinals received a whopping 24 points from senior Tanner Henry. Henry went on to grab 14 rebounds and blocked seven shots. Chris Everts and Chase Shaw were the next highest scorers with seven and six points, respectively.
