Truck Crashes Into Tree

A Needmore man suffered moderate injuries when his 1992 Ford F-150 crashed into a tree along Blair Hill Road on Tuesday, February 22.

According to state police, 19-year-old Timothy J. Leedy was travelling westbound at an estimated speed of 30 miles per hours when he lost control of his truck while rounding a curve in the Belfast Township roadway. The truck went onto the shoulder where it struck a tree. It was disabled as a result of the damage.

Leedy, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated and released from Fulton County Medical Center. He will be cited by state police for driving too fast for roadway conditions.
