FCMC Participates In Eat Right With Color Campaign

Month-long campaign focusing on the importance of making informed food choices

March is National Nutrition Month. To celebrate, Fulton County Medical Center Nutrition Services is joining with the American Dietetic Association in its campaign “Eat Right with Color.”

On Tuesday, March 15 from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m., FCMC dietitian Cathy Snyder will host various presentations in the hospital’s main lobby. Snyder, along with Fulton County Master Gardner Linda Garber and Sister Margie with the Angel Food Ministries program, will have demonstrations, giveaways, and educational information regarding their programs. Also set up in the main lobby, local artists will be demonstrating their painting skills using vivid colors of fresh fruits and vegetables.

“We are thrilled to have the lobby so full of foods and colors” says Snyder. “As more Americans become more aware of their diets and healthy eating habits, FCMC wants to be there to provide the tools they need to achieve their healthy living goals. There are many great resources out there to provide you with the tools you need to eat healthy.” Snyder encourages you to stop by the various tables set up and help spread the message to “Eat Right with Color.”
