Fannett-Metal 49, McConnellsburg 36

The McConnellsburg Spartans season play came to an end Friday night when the Fannett-Metal Tigers walked away with a 49-36 Sideling Hill League win. Tony White wrapped up the game with 10 points, five rebounds and four steals, while Tyler Green reached a career high 14 points.

Southern Fulton 53, Forbes Road 50

A back and forth battle between Southern Fulton and Forbes Road came to a halt in the last 14 seconds of Friday’s game with an important shot and much needed three points for the Indians. During the Indians’ 53-50 Sideling Hill League victory, Seth Hall netted 18 points. Teammate Ryan Harper, who spent much of the evening in foul trouble, finished the match with only 13 points. For the Cardinals, Tanner Henry tallied 22 points, 11 rebounds and two blocked shots. Brett Burger and Chris Everts both added nine points.

Forbes Road 82, Hyndman 45

Forbes Road produced some big numbers following the halftime break last Tuesday to easily down the Hyndman Hornets 82-45. Tanner Henry recorded 28 points, 10 rebounds and seven blocked shots and became the 16th individual at the small school to reach 1,000 career points. Chris Everts nailed 18 points, and Tristan Gelvin also reached double figures with 11.

Southern Fulton 48, Everett 27

Everett only managed to score six points in three quarters last Tuesday and ended its Sideling Hill League match in a dismal 48-27 loss to the Southern Fulton Indians. Ryan Harper led his teammates with 20 points and also added eight rebounds, five assists and four steals. Seth Hall and Damon Gordon both contributed seven points to help secure the victory.

Tussey Mountain 73, McConnellsburg 27

Tussey Mountain maintained a 29-point lead during the first period last Tuesday and effortlessly cruised to a 46-point win over the Mc- Connellsburg Spartans. Tony White netted 12 points to lead the Spartans, while Tyler Green rounded out the Sideling Hill League match with eight points.
