Stephen R. Lipinski
Steven Richard Lipinski, 68, Hancock, Md., died Monday, February 14, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.
Born June 10, 1942, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Howard Francis and emma Eva Grob Lipinski.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He attended public schools in Dundalk, Md.
He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves.
He had been employed as a truck driver by Red Barron Trucking Co.
He married his wife, Sandra Jean Largent, on February 18, 1961, and would have been married for 50 years Friday, February 18, 2011.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed woodworking and loved dogs.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Lipinski, at home; two daughters: Tammy Eader and her husband, Richard, Warfordsburg; and Shantay McKinley and her husband, T.J., Hancock; two sons: Steven R. Lipinski II and his wife, Penny, and Troy Vernon Lipinski and his wife, Melissa, all of Hancock; eight grandchildren: Sande Poffenberger, Jimmy and Joshua Hill, Ashley and Brandon McKinley, and Jenna, Taylor and Tyler Lipinski; four great-grandchildren: Micah and Rebekah Poffenberger and Emma and Luke Hill; and his best friend, Randy Barron.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Howard F. Lipinski Jr. and Vernon Lipinski.
