Fulton County Medical Center Rehabilitation Services is happy to announce that beginning Monday, February 28, it will be expanding their hours to better serve patients’ needs. Prior to the expanded hours, the physical therapy department closed at 4:00 p.m. daily. With this new schedule, it will remain open from 7:30 a.m. until 6: 30 p. m. Monday through Thursday, and Friday it will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Physical therapist Tony Sacerino says of the change, “We’re really excited to expand our hours to help those patients who work till 4 or 5 p.m. and have to take time off work to come to their rehab appointment. We realize people have busy schedules and we want to offer more times to better suit their needs so they do not have to travel elsewhere. We provide quality healthcare close to home and we look forward to gaining new patients who have had to travel in the past because of our limited hours. We are striving to meet the needs of the community and continue to make changes to better serve our people in the area.”

Rehabilitation Services is also announcing their new hours for the cardiopulmonary gym. Beginning March 7, the gym will be open to the community Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday and Friday from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. You can join the gym by calling 717-485-6149.
