McCray Announces Candidacy

Rodney McCray Rodney McCray A native and resident of southern Fulton County announced his intentions to seek the Republican Party’s nomination for the Fulton County Board of Commissioners this week.

Rodney McCray is a graduate of Southern Fulton High School and also attended Strayer College. Having finished a six-year missionary course, McCray and his wife, Carol, spent 20 years in a cross-cultural life in Africa. During his time in Africa, McCray served as missionary leadership for 15 years.

In addition, McCray and his son own and operate a construction company based out of Warfordsburg, which has done business in both Pennsylvania and Maryland for more than 10 years. In conjunction, McCray has also served as a member of Fulton County Builder’s Association Committee.

A member of the Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren in Needmore, the McCrays have two children, Kirk and Wendy.

“I feel blessed to have been raised in Fulton County and would like to pass on some of that heritage to my grandchildren who have found their home here. It would be an honor to serve the folks of Fulton County as commissioner,” said McCray.
