AT&T Expands Network In Fulton And Franklin Counties

AT&T has announced the expansion of its mobile broadband network in Franklin and Fulton counties, extending access for advanced mobile services, devices and feature-rich audio and video content to customers in the area.

For this expansion, AT&T’s mobile broadband network – the nation’s fastest – was added to 20 cell sites. AT&T customers will now experience enhanced voice and data quality throughout the communities of Crystal Spring, Waterfall, Big Cove Tannery, Burnt Cabins, Fort Littleton, Harrisonville, Hustontown, Mc- Connellsburg, Needmore, and Warfordsburg in Fulton County as well as Fannettsburg, Mercersburg, Saint Thomas, and Spring Run in Franklin County. The expansion also boosts coverage on parts of major roadways, such as the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-70 and routes 30 and 522.

AT&T also operates the nation’s largest Wi-Fi network with more than 23,000 hotspots in the U.S. and provides access to more than 125,000 hotspots globally through roaming agreements. Most AT&T smartphone customers get access to our entire national Wi-Fi network at no additional cost, and Wi-Fi usage doesn’t count against customers’ monthly data plans.
