Charles D. Harr
Charles David Harr, 71, McConnellsburg, died Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at his residence.
He was born in Clermont, Ohio, on February 12, 1939, the son of the late Albert and Delphia (Atkins) Harr. He was the husband of Bernice G. (Mooney) Harr.
He was an airman in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a senior deacon at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob, McConnellsburg, and was a retired tunnel guard from the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Amanda Daniels, Harrisonville; two sisters: Thelma Faith and Bonnie Oakman, both of Ohio; a brother, Steve Harr of Ohio; grandchildren: Joshua Oakman, Yolanda Hershey and Lydia Oakman, all of McConnellsburg; and nine great-grandchildren.
Religious service will be held at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob, Mc- Connellsburg, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2011. Interment will be at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob Cemetery, McConnellsburg.
At the family’s request, there will be no visitation.
