Fugitive Arrested In Belfast Twp.

Pennsylvania State Police, McConnellsburg, on Monday took a Needmore woman wanted in Washington County, Md., on felony vehicle theft charges into custody without incident. Vivian Painter, 68, was apprehended Jan. 31 at 5:21 p.m. at the Painter farm on Waltz Road in Belfast Township. She was a arraigned before District Magisterial Justice Devin Horne and remanded to Franklin County Prison to await extradition proceedings. Bail has been set at $75,000.
