Marine Maj. George Cutchall was recognized by many of his friends in Fulton County when he appeared on television during the Super Bowl game in an update on the Persian Gulf War, talking to his men on land mines. He is a demolition expert.

Fulton County’s population rose to 13,837 in the 1990 census, an increase of 7.7 percent over 1980 census figures.

Fulton County Commissioners Tuesday received a report on the proposed planting of trees in the area of the county courthouse. Six pin oaks will be planted along West Market Street from the Neighborhood Service Center to the monuments in front of the courthouse.
