FCCCS 30, Frederick 14

The Fulton County Community Christian School Chargers held Frederick to two points during the third quarter Monday evening and cruised to a 30-14 non-league win. Jenae Gordon rallied for 22 points, eight rebounds, five steals and three assists. Rebecca Truax finished with six points.

Forbes Road 40, Fannett-Metal 39

Meeting for a second time this season, Forbes Road again edged out the Fannett- Metal Tigers in Sideling Hill League action. In picking up the 40-39 win last Thursday, the Cardinals were led by Stephanie Worthing with 10 points and three steals. Kaili Hockensmith added eight points and 11 rebounds, and Kylynne Fraker tallied eight points and nine rebounds.

Southern Fulton 51, McConnellsburg 18

Southern Fulton Lacey Beatty totalled 17 points last Thursday to lead the Lady Indians to a 51-18 trouncing of the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans. Teammate Chelsie Eader followed with 14 points and six steals, and Jenna Hollenshead was the next highest scorer with five points and five rebounds. McConnellsburg’s high scorer was Rikki Green, who netted eight points.

FCCCS 42, Calvary Christian 16

Jenae Gordon netted 19 points on Friday, leading the Fulton County Community Christian School Chargers to a 42-16 win over Huntingdon Calvary Christian. Rebecca Truax added eight points, while Josie Spade led the defense with 10 rebounds. Andrew Leedy contributed seven assists and five steals during the win.

Forbes Road 76, Everett 39

Forbes Road reached a season-high 76 points Monday with a decisive Sideling Hill League victory over the Everett Warriors. Chris Everts led the Cardinals team with a career-high 32 points and 11 rebounds, while Tanner Henry added 24 points, 15 rebounds and three blocked shots. Brett Burger and Jared Henry had seven and six points respectively.

Southern Fulton 73, Hyndman 42

Southern Fulton’s winning streak continued Monday when the Indians dominated Hyndman by the final score of 73-42. With 20 points, 10 rebounds and five steals Ryan Harper led the Indians, who also got 11 points from J.C. Munson. Seth Hall followed with nine points and five assists, and Damon Gordon also added nine points.

Frederick 76, FCCCS 66

Kenny Lininger scored half of Fulton County Community Christian School’s points Monday but it wasn’t enough for the Chargers to overcome the Frederick Warriors. During the 76-66 loss, Lininger tallied 33 points. Meanwhile, Skyler Gordon chipped in 25 points and six assists. Caleb Gingerich finished with six points, seven rebounds and four steals.

FCCCS 61, Calvary Christian 54

Kenny Lininger scored more than half of the Fulton County Community Christian School’s points Friday evening during a 61-54 win over Huntingdon Calvary Christian. Lininger poured in 31 points and five steals, while Skyler Gordon also reached double digits with 19 points. Caleb Gingerich rounded out the non-league game with eight points, five assists and five steals.

Forbes Road 68, Fannett-Metal 47

Three members of the Forbes Road Cardinals’ squad hit double figures on Friday for a decisive 68-47 Sideling Hill League win over rivals, the Fannett-Metal Tigers. Chris Everts poured in 19 points during the victory and also contributed 14 rebounds. Teammate Tanner Henry followed closely with 17 points, 21 rebounds and seven blocked shots. Freshman Tristan Gelvin netted 14 points, while Brett Burger and Jordan Sowers both added six points.

Southern Fulton 69, McConnellsburg 39

McConnellsburg and Southern Fulton kept a close score until late in the fourth quarter when the Indians pulled away for an easy 69-39 win. During the Sideling Hill League match Ryan Harper scored a career- high 30 points for the victorious Indians. Damon Gordon was the next highest scorer with seven points, while Evan Appleby totalled 19 points and four assists for the Spartans. Billy Fleming had seven points to round out the game.

Southern Fulton’s offense picked up the pace following the halftime break and netted 25 points in the third quarter of last Tuesday’s game for a 74-39 non-league win over Hancock, Md. Ryan Harper posted a career-high 25 points and also grabbed eight rebounds. Teammate Chris Leasure and Seth Hall had 12 and 11 points, respectively. Dane Gordon finished the game with eight rebounds, eight assists and three steals.

Chestnut Ridge 53, Forbes Road 42

Having committed 28 turnovers Tuesday night, the Forbes Road Cardinals couldn’t overcome Chestnut Ridge, who clinched the Sideling Hill League match by the score of 53-42. Chris Everts led his Cardinal teammates with 17 points, and Tristan Gelvin was the next highest scorer with nine points and five assists. Tanner Henry finished with six points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots.

Northern Bedford 48, McConnellsburg 40
