Six Require Medical Treatment
Six individuals required transport to Fulton County Medical Center on Sunday, January 16, after a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of North Hess and Mountain House roads.
State police reported a 17- year-old McConnellsburg girl attempted to turn left onto North Hess Road and turned into the path of an oncoming 2007 Ford Focus driven by Jairus R. Murton, 24, of Lexington, Ky.
The teen and Murton were both wearing seat belts as was the girl’s passenger, a 17-year-old female from Harrisonville. Murton’s passengers, Melinda R. Murton, 22, and James C. Murton, 50, were not wearing seat belts, and police are unsure if Jacob D. Murton, 23, and Ashtian Roso, 20, were using seat belts. Only Jairus Murton did not require medical transport. Injuries ranged from minor to moderate.
