Report: Pa. Woman Hit In Eyelid By Hunter’s Pellet
STEVENS, Pa. (AP) – The Pennsylvania Game Commission is investigating the shooting of a woman who was struck in the eyelid by a pellet when goose hunters fired in her direction.
Game commission spokeswoman Cheryl Trewella said victim Lisa Messner was in the parking lot where she worked Wednesday afternoon when the incident occurred.
Trewella says the Denver, Pa., woman was treated at Lancaster General Hospital, and it appears that the pellet didn’t penetrate her eyelid.
Trewella says charges are possible but more investigation is required.
