Man Killed In Pa. Log Cabin Fire

MATAMORAS, Pa. (AP) – A fire at a northeastern Pennsylvania log cabin has left a man dead.

Investigators say the burning the Westfall Township home was spotted by a PennDOT snowplow driver early Tuesday morning.

Millrift Fire Chief John Albright says flames were spewing from the windows and door when firefighters arrived. The man was pronounced dead around 6 a.m. by the Pike County coroner’s office. His identity hasn’t been released.

Albright says the fire’s cause hasn’t been determined.
