Stains To Seek Re-election
Currently in his seventh year as county sheriff, Stains has seen many improvements occur in his office, including the addition of enhanced security measures at the Fulton County Courthouse and the implementation of a new computer system for the issuance of gun permits. Expenses related to both improvements were paid for through grant money.
In addition to his busy schedule of transporting prisoners, approving and issuing gun permits and following up on bench warrants, the sheriff currently oversees a staff of two security officers, two full-time deputies, three-part time deputies and one part- time secretary.
“There are many more improvements needed to help serve the county better,” said Stains. “With my knowledge and experience, I ask for your support in my re-election.”
