Richard T. Hamilton
Richard T. Hamilton, 74, Three Springs, died at 6:15 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2011, at his home.
Born September 23, 1936, in Three Springs, he was a son of the late Donald and Bernice (Stevens) Hamilton. He is a stepson of Helen Hamilton of Woodland Retirement Community, Orbisonia. He married the former Annalee G. Miller November 16, 1963, in Elizabethtown. She survives at their home.
He is also survived by three children: Deanna Starr, Orbisonia; Jodi Kauffman, Fredericksburg, Pa.; and Richard T. Hamilton II, Burnt Cabins; eight grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; and three siblings: Barbara Bashore, Mifflintown; Nancy Desiderati, Gold Canyon, Arizo.; and Craig Hamilton, Jennerstown.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Dupler.
He attended Fairview Evangelical Church, Three Springs.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served from 1955-1959.
He was a member of Lake City Lodge No. 127 F&AM, Oswego, N.Y.
He was employed by the Pipefitters and Plumbers Union Local No. 520, Harrisburg.
He was very fond of his two dogs, Shadow and Nitro.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 6, at 11:00 a.m., at Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia. Rev. William Hughes officiated. Burial was made in Fairview Cemetery, Three Springs.
