Frederick L. Steach Jr.

Frederick “Freddie” Lynn Steach Jr., 32, Wexford, Pa., died Saturday, January 1, 2011, at 12:15 p.m., at his residence at The Woodlands Foundation, Wexford, Pa.

He was born December 17, 1978, in Chambersburg, the son of Frederick Lynn and Penny ( Davidson) Steach Sr.

In addition to his father, Frederick L. Steach Sr. and his wife, Amanda, Three Springs and his mother, Penny Miller and her husband Mitch, Blakeslee, Pa, he is survived by a stepsister, Melissa Steach, and grandparents Edwin and Sara Jane Steach, all of Three Springs; an aunt, Debra Dhoes, Williamsburg, and the following aunts and uncles: Martin Steach and his wife, Sandra, Saxton; Elwood Davidson and his wife Maxine, Stroudsburg; and Virgil Davidson and his wife, Sherry, Abbottstown; many cousins; and a best friend, Jen Speicher.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Ruth Davidson.

He was employed at the license center for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in Pittsburgh.

He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Pittsburgh. He was an avid NASCAR, Steeler and Pittsburgh Pirates fan.

He was a member of the Southern Huntingdon High School Class of 1997 and Allegheny Community College, Pittsburgh, in 2001.

He was a resident of Pittsburgh area since graduating from high school.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 5, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cutright Funeral Homes, Alexandria. Pastors Mark Beiter and Joseph Patterson officiated. Burial was made in Alexandria Presbyterian Cemetery.
