Curtis L. Beaumont

Curtis L. Beaumont, 56, of Shippensburg, died Saturday, January 8, 2011, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Friday, November 12, 1954, in Abington, Pa., the son of the late Howard and Elizabeth (Longstreet) Beaumont.

He graduated from Council Rock High School in Holland, Pa. He owned and operated Pro Moving & Storage Inc. in Chambersburg for almost eight years.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church in Shippensburg. He was also a member of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Talmon) Beaumont, to whom he was married for 37 years; his daughter, Jennifer N., and husband Aaron Rotz, Chambersburg; sons: Jeffrey L. and wife Dawn Beaumont, Spring Run and Brian M. Beaumont, Frederick, Md.; grandchildren: Carson and Jack Beaumont, Spring Run; a sister, Carol Kelly, Kintnersville, Pa.; and a brother, Howard Beaumont, Mays Landing, N.J.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, at Our Lady of The Visitation Parish, 305 N. Prince Street, Shippensburg, with the Rev. Father David Hillier officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, at the church prior to the mass.
