Sweetheart Ball Set For February 13

Proceeds to benefit two pediatric cancer patients

It’s time for the Sweetheart Ball again, so get out your bib and tucker and plan a date with that special someone.

The Iota Lambda chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority is holding its Sweetheart Ball on Saturday, February 12, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event will be held at the American Legion Post 561, located at 4111 North Fifth Street in McConnellsburg.

Each year the sorority selects local needs or organizations to benefit from the Sweetheart Ball. The Sweetheart Ball this year will benefit pediatric cancer patients P. J. Stanley and Sean Williams, who, along with their families, are fighting cancer diagnoses.

The ball will include salad bar, dinner, dancing and both live and silent auctions. D.J. Shane Imler of Northeastern Entertainment will be providing music throughout the evening.

Tickets for the ball are available at $35 per couple or $20 singles from any sorority member. For tickets, monetary donations or donation of items for the auctions, call 717-485-5930 or 717-294- 6091.
