Greencastle-Antrim 53,

McConnellsburg 29

Greencastle-Antrim commanded an easy 15-point lead Monday and cruised to a 53-29 non-league win over the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans. Nikki Fleming dumped in 10 points to lead the Spartans during the game, while Libby Strayer chipped in six points.

Southern Fulton 37,

Chestnut Ridge 32

Southern Fulton commanded an eight-point lead at the end of the first period Monday, but Chestnut Ridge fought back and was the high scorer in both the second and fourth quarters. The Indians managed to pull away, however, and racked up their fifth win with the five- point Sideling Hill League win over Ridge. Lacey Beatty and teammate Chelsie Eader both netted 10 points, while Beatty had three steals and Eader three assists. Taelor Morton had seven points to round out the evening’s play.

Tussey Mountain 54,

Forbes Road 27

Forbes Road easily summed up its loss to Tussey Mountain to poor shooting and too many turnovers Monday night. During the 54-27 Sideling Hill League loss, Stephanie Worthing hit double digits with 10 points and added seven rebounds and three blocked shots. Shania Gelvin tallied five points, while Kylynne Fraker, Kaili Hockensmith and Jessica Gearhart each dumped in four.

Southern Fulton 66,

Clear Spring 44

The Southern Fulton Lady Indians captured the Hancock Holiday Tournament title last Thursday with a decisive 22-point victory over Clear Spring, Md. Lacey Beatty posted 15 points and dished out nine assists during the win, while teammate Morgan Mills was chosen as a member of the tourney all-star team after reaching a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Taelor Morton also tallied 12 points, while Chelsie Eader was the next highest scorer with nine points and six steals. Jenna Hollenshead rounded out the match with seven points and 10 rebounds.

Southern Fulton 65,

Broadfording 27

Southern Fulton built up a big lead early on and only allowed Broadfording to score 16 points in any given quarter Wednesday at the Hancock Tournament. During the Indians’ 65-27 win, Chelsie Eader posted 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals. Kayla Cutchall chipped in 10 points, while teammates Lacey Beatty and Baily Elbin both had eight.
