Berkeley Springs 43

Southern Fulton was given the go-ahead to advance to the championship round of the Tri-State Shootout Monday night after defeating Berkeley Springs 71-43. Ryan Harper posted 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the victorious Indians in their fourth win of the season. Nick Smartt followed with 14 points, while teammates J.C. Munson and Chris Leasure both chipped in 10.

Tussey Mountain 47,

Southern Futon 44

Tussey Mountain inched out Southern Fulton in the final moments Wednesday evening, clinching the Sideling Hill League by a mere three points. Ryan Harper continued his hot streak with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while teammate Nathan Keebaugh also reached double figures with 11 points.

Forbes Road 51,

Northern Bedford 37

Forbes Road used the third quarter to its advantage Wednesday night to pull ahead and eventually down the Northern Bedford Panthers 51-37. Tanner Henry posted a double-double with 19 points and 16 rebounds while also contributing four steals and two blocked shots. Chris Everts was the next highest scorer for the Cardinals with eight points.

Hyndman 62,

McConnellsburg 47

McConnellsburg got off to a slow start and ended Wednesday’s Sideling Hill League match in a disappointing 62-47 loss to Hyndman Hornets. Billy Fleming netted 14 points to lead the Spartans, and Evan Appleby contributed nine points. Tyler Green wrapped up the game with eight points, and Tony White had six points, five rebounds and three steals.
