A 64-year-old male from Harrisonville reported to state police troopers a burglary occurred at his property located at 4677 Old 126, Warfordsburg, between 7 a.m. on November 5 and 3 p.m. on November 16.
Among the items reported stolen were a 1952 Ford automatic transmission; a 1952 steering wheel and column; two 1949 to 1952 carburetors; a 1967 Cheval brake drums and inner fender wells; a 1967 Cheval radiator as well as other radiators and heating cores; a 307 Chevrolet short block engine; a 1967 Cheval transmission; 390 engine block; heads; cranks, oil pans; timing covers; valve covers; rockers; push rods; rods and pistons; cams; intake manifolds; a 1958 Impala automatic transmission; three or four Ford four-speed transmissions; numerous rims for a Ford; two steel late model racing rims; a snowmobile engine; two motorcycle engines; various Ford vehicle accessories; a model A transmission; and radiator shrouds.
Additional items were also taken, bringing the total loss to between $4,000 and $5,000. The burglars may have been using a dual wheel truck during the incident. Anyone having further information concerning the case in Union Township is asked to call Trooper Bartlett at 717-485-3131.
