Police: 4 Charged In NE Pa. Missing Xmas Tree Case
SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. (AP) – Police say four people have confessed to swiping the town Christmas trees as in two northeastern Pennsylvania communities.
Police in Susquehanna say three men and a woman admitted taking the borough’s Christmas tree last weekend. Investigators say the suspects also made off with the tree in Great Bend Township as part of a prank.
Susquehanna police tell WNEP-TV the four face criminal mischief and theft charges after the town’s tree was chopped down. Charges in the disappearance of other tree would have to come from state police.
The suspects’ names were not immediately released.
