Baby Jesus Figurine Returned To Borough Again

RED LION, Pa. (AP) – A figurine of the baby Jesus stolen from a central Pennsylvania Nativity scene has been returned again.

Officials say a woman returned the figurine Wednesday after she said she found it along the road. The fiberglass statue had disappeared over the weekend.

It was the second time the figurine was stolen and returned in recent years.

York Area Regional Police Sgt. Rod Varner says the woman had found the figurine on Saturday morning and kept it until seeing news reports about the stolen statue.

Officials say the figurine will be cleaned and returned to the manger.
