Hendershot – Creek United
Tiffany Nicole Creek and Andrew Kenneth Hendershot were united in marriage on July 3, 2010, at Needmore Bible Church. The 7 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Pastor Ed Blank. The groom’s uncle, Rev. Tom Willard, performed the “Cord of Three Strands” ceremony, signifying God at the center of their marriage.
The bride is the daughter of Philip Creek and Virgie Creek, both of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. She is a graduate student in the West Virginia University Master of Social Work program. She works as a substitute teacher and is a non-destructive inspector in the 167th Airlift Wing.
The groom is the son of Earl and Carol Hendershot of Warfordsburg. He is a graduate of Penn State University. He works at home as a fifthgeneration dairy farmer.
The bride’s attendants were Misty Meadows, Brittany Creek, Sara Hillegass and Katerina Weicht.
The groom’s attendants were Benjamin Wise, Andrew Weicht, Robert Rougeaux and William Souders.
Flowergirl was Paige Wenger, and the ringbearers were Brock Meadows and Paul Hendershot.
The reception was held in a barn on Wadeson’s Farm, Warfordsburg.
Music was provided by CJ’s Music Masters of Shepherdstown, W.Va.
The cake was Fourth of July-themed and created by Tracy Deneen, a family friend. The photographer was Brian Pittman of Needmore. A beautiful fireworks display was provided by Joel Krall, friend of the groom.
The couple spent their honeymoon in the Great Smokey Mountains, Gatlinburg, Tenn.
They reside on Hendershot Farm in Warfordsburg.
