Nora E. Christian Angle
She was born August 2, 1945, in McConnellsburg, to James and Betty Deshong Christian.
On June 29, 1968, she married Joseph Ray Angle in Hagerstown. They lived in Mercersburg from 1969 to 1985, then moved to Garnes Road and moved to West Haven, Utah in 1994.
She worked at Parker Hannifin in the lab for several years. After that she decided to be a full-time homemaker, and she was excellent at that.
She enjoyed reading a good book. She loved her grandchildren and seeing them grow up from a young age. She loved her dogs, Molly, Maggie, Sammy and Quincy. She even enjoyed her husband, Joe, raising baby horses and watching him play with them and start riding them. She really loved life.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; a son, Lon (Michiko) Angle, Lake Forrest, Calif.; two daughters: Nikki Angle, Sacramento, Calif.; and Marci McLaughlin, Carlisle; five grandchildren: Jeremy, Ashly, Katelynn, Devon, Micah; and her mother, Betty Deshong Christian, McConnellsburg.
She was preceded in death by her father and a sonin law, Kirby McLaughlin.
Memorial services were held Saturday, December 11, at 2 p.m., at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary
