Cletus E. Younker
Cletus E. Younker, 59, Little Orleans, Md., died Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at home.
He was born in Berkeley Springs, May 18, 1951, son of Helen A. Morris Younker, Hancock, and the late Harry C. Younker.
After 30 years with The National Park Service, he retired and worked two years with the Woodmont Chapter of the Issac Walton League.
He was a member of Saint Peter’s Catholic Church.
He was a member of the AARP.
He liked woodworking and hunting.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Victoria McCusker Younker; one daughter, Clarissa Younker, Hancock; one son, Mathew Younker, Little Orleans, Md.; three sisters: Joyce Trail, Warfordsburg; Diana Crouse, Big Cove Tannery; and Brenda Courtney, Hancock; three brothers: Wayne and Sam Younker, both of Hancock and Steve Younker, Hagerstown; five grandchildren: Derek, Kaleb, Mason, Alex and Faith Younker; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Warner.
Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday, Decem- ber 4, at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Hancock. Father Jack Lombardi was the celebrant. Burial was in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Cemetery.
