Speech therapist Erin Keller presents Randy Hill with his early Christmas present. Speech therapist Erin Keller presents Randy Hill with his early Christmas present. Fulton County Medical Center long-term care resident Randy Hill will be able to communicate more effectively through a new DynaVox speech generating device that will be mounted directly to his wheelchair. Randy, who is diagnosed with severe spastic cerebral palsy, will be able to use this system to talk with friends, family, and staff.

Purchase of Randy’s device was funded in part by the Durable Medical Equipment Grant through the Office of Long-Term Living, as well as Fulton County Medical Center’s Long-Term Care Facility.

“Randy is very excited about his new device and has asked me about it every day” said Speech Therapist Erin Keller. “We are excited for the opportunities that this device will create for Randy.” Keller wrapped Randy’s device as an early Christmas gift for him to open today.
