New LDS Missionary Joins Hancock Ward

Sister Caitlyn Byers, a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served in the Hancock area for two months before being assigned to another location. Sister Ro-chelly Fa’amoe has now joined Sister Krystyna Hales in serving the Hancock Ward.

Sister Fa’amoe spent the first 12 months of her 18- month mission in Damascus, Md., and Petersburg, W. Va. She hails from Independence, Miss., and has seven brothers and one sister. She worked for one year as a gate inspector for Triple Crown Railroad.

Sister Fa’amoe’s hobbies while at home include crafts, dancing and playing volleyball. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends and she loves talking with people. She looks forward to learning new recipes, taking piano and tap dancing lessons and doing volunteer service in nursing homes after her mission.

Upon completion of her mission, Sister Fa’amoe plans to get an education in the medical field and possibly work with the elderly. She also would like to get married in one of the LDS temples and start a family.
