Dora B. Albright
She was born in Wells Tannery on Sunday, January 7, 1917, the daughter of the late Harry and Blanche (Dodson) Brown.
She was the widow of John Albright Jr., who preceded her in death on May 14, 1982.
She is survived by son John L. “Lee” Albright, Bedford; daughter Linda D., wife of Howard Atkinson, Everett; four grandchildren: Melanie Shaw, Erin Diehl, Cassandra Sinclair and Lisa Albright; and seven greatgrandchildren: Maura, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Taylor, Emily, Madylin and Elaina.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Dorothy, and by three other sisters: Grace, Mary and Margaret and by two brothers: Joseph and Chester
She was a waitress at The Fort Bedford Inn.
She was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church.
The most important things in her life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a quilter, loved vegetable gardening and taking care of her flower beds and enjoyed the the time she shared with her loved ones cooking family dinners.
Funeral services were held at Bedford United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6. Rev. Jeff Welsch officiated. Interment was held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home Inc. Raystown Road, Everett, was in charge of arrangements.
